The Powerguard PS System is an energy efficient balanced battery system which works in conjunction with a generator providing a reliable 24/7 alternative to mains electricity.
The PS System provides the ideal mains free power solution to domestic, farm, commercial or marine use which vary in intensity of use over 24 hours.
The PS System maximises the fuel efficient use of the generator which the PS Sytem automatically switches on for heavy electrical use. The PS System feeds excess power to batteries via a sophisticated battery maintaining charger. This battery power is then used to provide mains power when the PS System turns off the generator during the 24 hour cycle. This cuts the generator run time by up to 75% with equal savings on fuel, maintenance and exhaust and noise emmissions.
The PS System can be easily connected to other environmentally efficient electrical power sources such as wind generators, solar panels and water powered generators. The OFGEM Renewables Obligation Certificates (ROCs)which these power generation systems attract are currently selling to electricity generation companies for about £50 per megawatt and rising so you can effectively get a rebate for your power consumption.
