PS System Installation near Malaga in Southern Spain

A Customer required a Powerguard PS System to provide reliable mains equivalent power to an off-grid property that he was building in Spain.

 

The Powerguard PS System size was chosen to take account of the customer's maximum power demands.

The unit was constructed at our factory and was shipped with batteries, isolation box, tools and Powerguard generator to his location on a hill along a precarious track.

Our installation engineer flew down and hired a car to get to the site. He installed the PS System in an outhouse adjacent to the main building. The heat was intense and impossible to work in at mid-day. The generator was located outside on a purpose built plinth and the system connected up to the villa electrics by a local electrician. Our engineer commissioned the unit and checked it over a 24 hour period.

Our customer, Mr S wrote to us after our engineer had left: 

"I would also like to commend you for an excellent installation. The system works perfectly and I believe we are probably better off than others in the area on mains.  Alan was very efficient and professional in his work and took the trouble to explain what he was doing and how it all works to me (which required some patience on his part!). Considering the heat and confined space he was working in, that is some achievement."
