Powerguard PS System - The Fully Integrated Off-Grid Power Solution
Combining a highly efficient Powerguard Generator matched to the Powerguard PS System with Vision Deep Discharge Batteries this is the ultimate in fully integrated power systems for domestic scale off grid power production. For up to 90% efficiency, the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) option utilises the waste generator heat to supply your domestic hot water/heating needs at the same time as supplying electricity.
This is the best available balanced and integrated off-grid domestic power production system on the market. Every part of this proven low carbon microgeneration system, (Powerguard Generators, PS System and Battery Bank) has been optimised to provide reliable power with the lowest running cost and the lowest carbon emmissions.
For even greater efficiency, an option on our Powerguard Generators is Combined Heat and Power (CHP). At the same time as generating electricity, the "waste" heat from the generator exhaust pipe and coolant is used to provide your hot water and central heating needs via a heat exchanger. (Think of the generator as your central heating boiler).
The generator produces 2 kilowatts of usable heat energy for every 1 kilowatt of electricity energy it produces. Normally this heat energy is wasted through a radiator and from the exhaust pipe. This option of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) very efficiently converts most of the available generator heat energy into usable heat and power. This heat is stored in a heat store (tank) for use as domestic hot water and for central heating.
- For houses up to four bedrooms we recommend the highly fuel efficient Powerguard 12kVA single phase Generator and a 3kVA Powerguard PS System.
- For larger properties or small businesses requiring higher power, we offer the Powerguard 18kVA single phase generator and a 5kVA Powerguard PS System.
- Other user defined options for more complex or larger projects can be designed and produced too. We are an innovation company.

Combined Heat and PowerTo recover 90% of the energy available from the system, the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) option converts the waste generator heat into hot water for domestic use. This means that you do not need a separate hot water system expensively powered by LPG or Oil. Nor do you need an expensive Ground Source Heat Pump system. All of your hot water and central heating comes as a by-product of your electricity production !

Futurenergy Wind TurbineThe sophisticated microprocessors in the PS System can include additional battery charging from renewable electricity generators. So if you require further beneficial fuel saving (carbon reducing) enhancements, this can be achieved by using wind or hydro generators or solar photovoltaic (PV) panels to charge the battery. When they are able to generate electricity, they will further reduce the need to run the diesel generator. We offer the option of the Futurenergy WInd Turbine which is one of the most cost effective of its kind on the market.
