Off-Grid System Replacement in Northamptonshire

Overview

We were very pleased to meet the Llamas at this Llama school and trekking farm in the idyllic county of Northamptonshire.

We were contacted by the owners of the land, who were looking for a replacement power supply for their cabin and holiday let after the existing invertor system had finally failed.  As always, we were excited to step in and help.

Situation

The team had a wonderful time meeting the Llamas and staying in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside.

We were asked to replace an older Outback system that had come to the end of its working lifespan and was no longer offering optimal power and efficiency for the property. 

Solution

In addition to installing a custom off-grid system, we were able to adapt our system to work alongside the properties existing solar, battery and generator capabilities.

This came with several challenges, particularly as the original system was very old and the set up was different to our own.  As we build bespoke systems, we were able to design and install the system in a new purpose built shed and ensure long term, secure power for the business.

Result

By replacing the outdated system, we were able to ensure that both the cabin and the holiday lets were able to take advantage their solar and batteries while keeping the generator back up supply for those darkest winter days.
